Jon's Big Ride to Save Tiny Lives

Hello everyone, and thank you for the support you have shown us (Louise and Jon) over the last 11 months. It feels like a very long time that we have been living without Eva. We long to hold her and be her parents, and that longing for her will never diminish. At the same time, it feels like only yesterday that the midwife ran out of the room with her and our world crumbled.

We want to take the energy we derive from Eva’s life and channel that into a positive benefit. One way we want to do this in 2009 is to put Jon through a lot of hardship over a 7 day period by cycling from John O’Groats to Lands End to raise funds for research into birth asphyxia. Eva only lived for 7 days, so it seems very apt to try to pack a lot of miles into such a short time frame since she had to pack a whole lifetime into the same period.
